Every month at every campus, students with Perfect Attendance will be entered into a raffle for the selection of that month’s Burger King Queen and King for attendance!
Each King and Queen will be crowned and will receive a Family Pack which includes two Whopper Meals and two Kid’s Meals.

Laredo Independent School District proclaimed September as Attendance Awareness Month during a ceremony on Monday morning. The proclamation was conducted in the foyer of the LISD Performing Arts Complex Auditorium.
Students, campus principals, assistant principals, attendance officers, and administrators filled the foyer in support of daily student attendance.
LISD Board of Trustees Vice President Rick Garza and Superintendent Dr. Sylvia G. Rios took turns reading the proclamation.

🔬🥼🧲Ms. Paredes' Class visited our science lab today and explored which items are attracted to magnets! Last week they investigated turning a liquid into a solid by turning heavy whipping cream into butter!🧈Great job unicorns!🦄
😀🦄It's been a busy week at Ligarde filled with tons of fun learning experiences. In first grade students conducted a science experiment on changes in materials due to heat. The students tested whether the sun ☀️ would melt chocolate🍫 . 😉The chocolate did in fact melt! 🦄😀
